Frequently Asked Questions

These are some of the most common questions we get each year. If you have a question that isn't covered here, please contact us, we love talking about Christmas lights.

The biggest difference is that we offer our lifetime warranty on everything we supply. As long as we are installing and taking down your lights and decorations each year, you will never have to worry about a burnt out bulb again.

There is a huge difference! Inside an LED Christmas bulb, there is a light-emitting diode (LED) that produces light when hit with electricity. Typical store-bought lights contain one LED per bulb.
Our lights are significantly brighter because we only use commercial grade lights that contain 3 LEDs per bulb. You won't find these lights in any retail stores and since they are commercial LEDs, that means they are brighter and won't run up your electricity bill.
Our lights are also completely customizable. We can fit the length of lights and cords to the exact size of your roofline.

When the Christmas Installers decorate your home, there are no "extra" bulbs around the corner!

Full service means we take care of every detail from start to finish. We will create your design plan. (We can add virtual lights and decorations to a picture of your home so you can see how amazing it will look.) We will supply everything needed from clips to cords to lights, and install your custom display professionally. If anything needs repair between now and Dec. 23rd, we will take care of it. Once the holidays are over, we will take it all down and pack it up and store it for you.
And of course, full service means full warranty on everything we supply!

Yes, we warranty everything we supply as long as we install and take down your lights every year.
Your lights will still be covered even if you move to a new home within our service area.

The only exception is damage caused intentionally or through negligence, ex. plow damage.

Typically we will not install lights that we didn't supply as we have no way of knowing the quality and  condition of the lights or how safe they are.

We custom order all of our lights. So whether you prefer a warm or cool white display or have a specific combination of colours in mind, we have several colour options to choose from to help create the Christmas display you envision.

No, all we need is access to a power outlet. The location of the outlet will be confirmed prior to the install. If your home doesn't have an exterior outlet, there are other options that can be discussed such as running a cord from inside the garage.

While the LEDs themselves are rated for up to 50,000 hours of use, the wiring and sockets are meant for seasonal use only. This is due to the harmful effects of UV rays. When lights are left out all year, the wires can degrade quickly and the sockets can become brittle as UV levels in the summer months are significantly higher than they are in the winter.
But since they are your lights, if you really want them left up, we won't take them down. However, this will void your warranty,  unfortunately.

Yes, we will store your lights and decorations; this is included in your package.

We carry contents insurance so in the unlikely event something were to happen, you're covered.

The first year is always the most expensive as you are paying for both the purchase of the lights and decorations as well as the cost of install, takedown and storage.
As home sizes and number of items to be decorated can vary greatly, your cost will be based on what you want decorated.  For an average 2 storey home, lighting up the roofline the first year usually ranges from $750 to $1000.
The second year will cost significantly less than the first year as you're only paying for the installation.

Yes, we are able to light up large trees up to an approximate height of 40'-45'. To do this, we use our boom lift which allows us to safely reach the top of the tree. Please note that we have limited availability for large tree lighting due to needing the lift, so please book early. ***No more installalation slots available for this season***

Head on over to the "Contact Us" page and fill out the form. Once we have a picture of your home and an idea of what you're looking for, we can give you an estimated price. After that, an on-site visit may be needed to take some measurements to give you a final quote.
Once your order has been confirmed, we will require a deposit of 50% to order your lights and schedule your install.
